monthly wrapup – 04/2011

woah…. some serious stuff happened over the last month. while a $5 billion wedding was watched by all raj fans across the globe… a >$400 billion man hunt was watched by even more as supporters and haters gather to mourn and celebrate the kill… rebels continue to fight against oppressors in Maghreb region, oil rich region, here, here, royal kingdom and here. Anna (not the tennis star) continues to fight the government while 2G, CWG continue to top the acronym list…  nevertheless, some Indians did make us feel proud and everyone in India was out on the streets rejoicing the win… the money spewing league was back in its latest avatar with 2 new teams…. and while India tries to uncover black money from european accounts, Goa’s ex-european rulers are facing the heat and have joined the soon to be long list of bankrupts… time for goa to takeover them….

monthly wrap up….

Long time since i updated the blog… been pretty busy with twitter and social networks and some work in between to update this one… anyhow, since the last time i posted, planet earth completed its MMXth Anno Domini revolution around Sun… south india witnessed its “once in a blue moon” annular solar eclipse… BrawnGP no longer exists… and Schumi is back, but with ex-rival… and F1 family has 4 newborns… Mr. S.R.T. scored a freakin double ton and became the first and only one to do so in an ODI… companies which or on the brink posted healthy profits this year… Zeus is unhappy as his people are engulfed in Euro-pulling debt… I got a new phone… yahoo’s biggest search competitor launched a micro-blogging service on its widely known mail application to compete with the likes of “bird chitter” and fb… oh and yeah, it also came up with an exciting phone nexus… exciting times for mobile phones as the phone-software market is buzzing with competition… hope something like that breaks the ms-appl-linx hold… Hopenhagen lost all hope… New recruit managed to get a “Noble” award… EPL’s cricket clone is back in the country, though not without turning some heads… ‘King of the world’ became lucky twice and his two films now compete for the top-$pot… quakes left some places shattered while big-apple is under snow… … … … Phew!!!

Oh and yeah… Twestival (Twitter+Festival) being organized world over on 25th march…

The m(ay)onth is was

Once again we pause a while, take a deep breath and just look at what all happened in 05-2009. Underdogs become champs at IPL-SA edition; While developed econimies shrink, SA GDP grew $1bb by hosting Modi’s (not Narendra) pet project ; Singh still remains the king, with Gandhi ji’s blessings ; My office has stopped experimenting and has finally setlled with one caterer and we also get to see “Return of snakcs wala” in our cafeteria ;  saw sunrise thrice this month, and then went to sleep ; planned to take up swimming, jogging, badminton or tennis and finally settled with sleeping ; Heard some tigers gave up their kingdom in SL ; and even saw the reaction in anna land ; Button still leading the track(s) ; Heard GM wil go bankrupt, but just like the past 12 months, nothing happened ; A new and big Kindle came in the market, wonder when will i get my hands on it ; Red devils created history by winning 25 mathces in a row at champions league ; Barca made history by limiting the devils to 25 ; Sensational Sensex soared sensationaly to create sensations across the sensitive equity markets ; Country North of South Korea tests N-weapons ; Even though developed cutnires have thousands, they still object to N-testing ; 7th Indian bee stings US in the past 10 years

Hope fully 06-2009 would pass by quietly…..
